NIIT Technologies integrates Osprey, drops independent branding
NIIT Technologies, the global IT service provider headquartered in New Delhi, today announced the complete integration of its SAP division, Osprey into the global organizational structure. Osprey, will now be formally called 'NIIT Technologies'. The division has dropped its independent branding and relocated its headquarters to Atlanta, thereby completely integrating into the NIIT Technologies fold.
NIIT Technologies operates in the USA through a wholly-owned subsidiary, NIIT Technologies Inc, which has its principal office in Atlanta. A few years back it acquired Osprey, an independent SAP strategic consulting firm focusing on the manufacturing SMB market with the aim of providing reliable, high value services in implementing, maintaining and managing enterprise applications for its customers in the ERP segment.
This initiative represents a milestone in the growing synergies between NIIT Technologies and Osprey in the last 3 years. Rechristening Osprey as 'NIIT Technologies' and relocating its head quarters to Atlanta tightens the alignment and integration between our SAP team and the rest of our global organization thereby providing more breadth and scale to our customers," says Mr. Lalit Dhingra, President of NIIT Technologies Inc, USA.
NIIT Technologies Limited recently announced its first quarter results for the quarter ended June 30, 2007, showing consolidated revenues of Rs. 229.4 crore, representing a growth of 20% over the same period last year.
