NIIT Technologies Champions the IT Transformation at Prism Cement
NIIT Technologies, the global IT services provider headquartered in New Delhi, today announced the successful SAP implementation at Prism Cement. This extends NIIT Technologies' footprint in the Cement industry in the realm of enterprise solutions implementations.
'Project Champion' is Prism Cement's flagship endeavor to integrate the business processes of Logistics, Financials and Human Capital Management under one umbrella by incubating global best practices. Built around SAP R/3 ECC 5.0, the implementation effort involved integrating the application across multiple locations that include Headquarters at Mumbai, Cement Manufacturing Plants at Satna (MP), a Packing Plant at Allahabad (UP) and the Marketing offices in Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Uttaranchal and Bihar. The implementation covers 2 cement plants, 9 Regional Marketing Offices and multiple warehouse locations.
